When I think back to the Sundays of the 90s, I remember there being not much more that hanging out with my brother and cousins and most likely playing cricket. Or listening to the Backstreet Boys.

Deciding on the batting order by drawing numbers in the sand under the bat, always losing the ball in one of the neighbours houses, breaking Achchie's car number plate, washing the ball whenever it fell in the drain...

As time has past we have all grown up and Colombo has too. I'm sure seeing Sunday cricket being played the same way takes many minds back in time, even as Colombo continues to grow and change.
